Hi there. Just got a new Ibook a couple of days ago. I am new to Macs so still getting the hang of a few things. Last night I highlighted a snippet of a webpage in Safari, and tried to print just the selection, but I couldn't find an option to do so. Is this possible with Safari? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dennis

For some odd reason, Apple strike the feature with OS X. I really hope they bring it back because I used it all the time in the Windows world.

If you simply go under Safari-->services-->make sticky note (shift-apple-Y) then apple-P to print it is only one more step at the most. the benefit is this: you can check the text before printing to see if it is formatted the way you like and there are no pictures, extra text, menu links, etc. that is in the text you wanted to print.

I would imagine this is why they took it out- many people probably ended up printing the text and ended up having to cut and paste into word or something to edit some for use. Just a guess.

Really good tip, thanks I hadn't though of that one, especially easy if you use the make sticky note shortcut.
