I am lazy and don't want to waste time investigating what this is about. I have visited this website but I have no clue about it.

As you drop this link, would you be so kind and present it ? Thks ;)

They have puzzles/riddles/etc. for you to solve and the reward is Apps and discounts on the final MacHeist bundle (a load of Apps for ~$30).

I "won" things like 1Password, Shovebox, World of Goo and about 30 more last year and have been waiting patiently for it to start up again.

I'll wait till they tell us what they're bundling. I generally don't have the time or interest in doing there puzzles and such.

While I got the prior bundle, I'm finding that I've used only one or two of the apps, so I'm not completely sold on the concept. Like most bundles you get one good app, sometimes two and the rest is crapware.

I find that I use the free Apps handed out in the build up to the main event to be much more useful. And if you don't want to do the solving for yourself, there is a section in their forums for users to post the solutions for you to copy.

I'm in again! I really enjoy solving their puzzles and the last bundle was very well worth it for me, just for The Hit List and World of Goo alone.

The games and puzzles are a blast, and challenging enough you feel like you've accomplished something when you figure them out, and generally if there's even one major app in the bundle you're going to use, you're coming out ahead by buying it. I have a LOT of stuff I use that came from MacHeist. Parallels, TextMate, and 1Password, to name just a few.

It's active!!! MacHeist (http://www.macheist.com/)

A relatively simple puzzle once you figure out what is going on. The app will be useful for some and seems pretty neat if not useful. solution in their forums

Just need to wait 5 days for the next thing to happen now.

Cheers for this man, checked out the solution in the forums and now I have a free app that's tons better than Disk Inventory X!

How do i get free 1password? I have it, but I want a key for free. I don't think it's worth that much, but it is useful :)

Thanks

You can't get it anymore. It was part of the last MacHeist. Also, they have since released 1Password 3 and the key doesn't work for that.

13.5 Hours and counting.

What can the asteroid be? Any correlation to Nov. 5 and the Gunpowder Plot? Guess we just wait and see.
