Where's the rest of the ad? There's a * next to "$100" which means "you may or may not get $100". I want to laugh more and see what kind of stipulations they have. :(

But yeah, that's really lame and silly.

Wow, this surprises me since the windows iPod software used to be MusicMatch.

I guess the Apple/MusicMatch relationship went to the crapper.

I don't think there was a relationship back then. iTunes predates iPod.

More precisely, when the music store opened. MusicMatch was not allowed to decode protected AAC files and could not participate in the music store. When the Windows version of iTunes arrived, there was nothing left to be said.

doesn't this ad just highlight the popularity of the ipod compared to the dell dj? i actually didn't think they would go through with this.

i actually saw the dell dj oin person for the first time last weekend. and trust me, its even worse in real life. MUCH worse...
