Microsoft finally gets around to patching DOS :p

Maybe they'll decide to break the 640k barrier while they're at it
“No one will need more than 637 kb of memory for a personal computer. 640K ought to be enough for anybody.”
[Bill Gates] Oh wait ;)

I hate when people attribute that sentence to BillG. He never said that.

I hate when people attribute that sentence to BillG. He never said that. That's not quite true. Bill Gates denied the statement--15 years after the quote was attributed to him. The quote was attributed to Gates in 1981. He did not get around to denying it until 1996.
From my reading of his denial (http://groups.google.com/group/alt.folklore.computers/msg/99ce4b0555bf35f4), he sounds like the kid who was seen under the bleachers with the ugliest girl in school.
