what do you need to see or hear to buy a Palm phone?

just wondering, what would you ladies and gentlemen need to hear, or see, to buy a palm pre or palm pixi? more apps? better pricing?

I'd be more interested in a Palm phone if they had different form factors. I don't particularly like sliders, and the Pixi doesn't look much better.

Palm is quickly being kicked aside by google. Given what I was reading about palm sales on verizon its been quite lackluster. Sprint is a egg sucking dog and so they're can't be all that happy either.

Looks like palm is in a world of hurt based on this article

Yeah, I don't expect Palm to be around much longer. Which is a shame, as I have owned several of their PDAs and found them to be excellent devices.
