Is it possible to install Kde4 and Gnome Dektop environments on Mac osx 10.6?

Yes!

I'm running KDE on my mac.
You need to run it in x11

Why gnome?

I use gnome in linux but I'm kind of scratching my head on running that in OSX.

How's Kde's performance under osx. I found it a bit laggy under ubuntu on my MBP at times, admittedly it was an older buggier version
