I keep saying* that we should maintain a list of hoaxes, sort of like Snopes (http://www.snopes.com/) for Mac urban legends. Were it my choice, there would be a note in some prominent place that says, "before you post a rumor you found on the net, see if it's already listed here (a link to the list)."

moi? I'm just stating fact...if my server is blocking it, then fine, it is blocking it...point is, something is not loading on their server. If they want any ounce of credibility they ought to have a more reliable server.

Anyway I did see it before it was taken down. That nice globe of a Mac. Interesting idea, still the problem with wireless is most wireless devices require batteries. I hate it when they say:

Thanks guys. I did think it was real.
I'm brand new to this list and I was told last week by a dealer to wait for the new machines coming out this month. I started to look on the internet to see what was around on the new machines and the first link Sherlock foiund was this one.
