When I enable disk sharing in the airport setup utility, and then try to use "connect to server" (afp) to remotely connect to my mac, I can only see the disk that's connected to the airport. Disk sharing forwards using port 548, so you can't use that for port for remote file sharing to see your computer. If I use another port (549 for example) for file sharing, is there a way to use afp to get my machine? Is there some syntax I'm missing (afp://username@base station ip address:549 doesn't work).

Any ideas? Seems like I'm missing something obvious here. It can't be that you have to choose to use afp for either one or the other, can it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
