Hi, I have been trying to add an avatar and it never works or shows. Can someone let me know how they do it?

Eh... I don't quite understand what your edit means, but anyway.

You need 500 posts for an avatar. Read this STICKY (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=90468) for all the info you wanted to know but forgot to look for.

Yep - they don't just hand out avatars to anyone. Become a 6502 and then you'll be entitled to receive one. :cool:
