Hi,

I was just wondering what is the best screw driver set for removing the screws from the late 2009 macbook pro unibody?

Thanks,

pretty much any $2 jewelry sized screwdriver will work. The screws aren't very tight. Phillips head is preferable.

Home Depot and Lowes sell a little $5 set with PH 1 downto 000 and four flat bits. They have a similar one with Torx bits T15 and T10..T5 too.

I went to Canadian Tire and just picked the cheapest option that had the T6 torx. Ended up finding a multi screw driver with both the Torx and the #00 Phillips for $10. Just head to a store and look for the lowest priced option. In the end, they're all pretty much the same.

I have various screwdrivers for Macbook, Pro, Air on my online store. Here's the mid-level kit - http://teak23macparts.bigcartel.com/product/apple-macbook-macbook-pro-screwdriver-repair-tool-kit-2008-09-macbook-air-better has a Phillips #00, Torx T6, Triwing (Tri-Lobe) battery tool & a Black Stick Spudger for $14.95. Also have "Economy Grade" for less & high quality "Pro Grade" with a lifetime guarantee.
