It isn't as clear cut as that. Many others have owned both and realize they both have their pros and cons. Countless threads on this issue. Calibrated LG is better than a Samsung.

I know and I have contributed to a lot of those threads. Mountain lion actually helped the LG display out without a color profile. Owning them both side by side though I still have to say the Samsung looks better. It may be preference, but I think most would chose the Samsung. LG and Samsung screens aside, the airs just got the overall shaft in screens compared to the pro line and obviously retinas.
