Target Redcard gives 10% off first purchase

We purchased an iPad for my wife due to Target's RedCard promotion this past week (we purchased it on Wednesday). For whatever reason, Target was combining the regular 5% off with the promotional 10% off. So, we got 15% off the iPad. That put the 16GB Wi-Fi only model at $424. We can live with that!

And Target has a deal that if you already have a Red Card you can get 5% off all purchases everyday! I used to have a Red Card back in the day when I got my PS1....cancelled it so I think I need to get another one....along with an iPad!
I am surprised Target doesn't issue a disclaimer like Best Buy does with their 10% coupons.
Best Buy and other stores always have a disclaimer on Apple products. They always exempt them from coupons.
Guess Target always gives you a 5% discount always, including Apple products if you use their Red Card?
