Please tell me so that I can get the best price out of MBA. I can afford to pay 100-200 dollars more or less, but if you feel that you have gotten good deals from apple or any other 3rd party retailers, please share them.

What MBA did you buy? 11 or 13 inch with what configuration?
Where and who did you buy from?
And How much was your total?

I am looking to buy 13 inch MBA with 4GB ram. Thanks.

Ultimate 13" from apple online for $1795 after tax
 
Base 11.6 from the Apple store for $1081 with tax. Changed my mind and ordered a 11.6/4gb RAM/128 (only thing not upgraded was the processor) for $1334 with tax from Apple over the phone.
 
I got the 13.3" with 4GB Ram upgrade and the stock 128 SSD.

With corporate discount i got it for $1,393 and change, shipped.

Rebate? Cheap taxes? That is about $200 less than I am looking at when buying direct from Apple. Great price.
 
I was going to really wait until Black Friday, but I cannot wait any longer. Longer I wait the worse this will be. I am not MBA owner yet, but I will be in few days.

Ordered from Macmall.

Macbook Air 13.3 inch/ 1.86 GHZ with 4GB ram and 128 SSD

Final price: 1308.53
My state doesn't get charged for tax, so that's a plus. I was trying to get it cheaper, but I doubt I will be able too. Hopefully, this will be the purchase that I won't regret.

$950 for 11 inch base model from a guy on craigslist who sold it because he thought it was too small.

I told the Apple rep that I wouldn't have to pay tax if I ordered it from macmall, so he dropped the price enough that apple's price with tax would be close to macmall's price without tax. I didn't think that they would do this for me, but it didn't hurt to ask, and apple surprised me. :)

WoW! That's a sweet deal. I'm looking at $1,979 after tax on the Apple site, maybe time to try and deal with someone on the phone. Thanks for the heads up.
 
Just over $1600 for a maxed out 13". Macmall.com has it at 1750, minus another 3% coupon (appleinsider), minus 5% credit card cashback on tech purchases (Citibank). And no tax to my state.

$650 US or thereabouts, in a country with one of the world's highest income and sales tax levels ;-)
