I am looking to place an order with B&H Photography for an iMac 27" and a new Macbook Air, amongst other products. I have never ordered from them and a bit reluctant to place the order, especially with the iMac 27", but the savings on taxes is a plus enabling me to purchase more...

I've never bought a Mac from them but have bought camera gear and software. They have a reputation for reliability.

They're a good site.

When in doubt,

I've used them numerous times. Visiting the actual store, and after moving away from New York, ordering over the net.

They've always provided excellent service. I've never had an issue in all the times I've used them. Even when I've had to return something (I accidentally ordered something twice), they refunded me almost immediately upon receivign the item.

I definitely recommend them.

They're good. I've purchased stuff from there without problems.

B&H is one of the best retailers in the US.

And they often have the best legit prices.

I've ordered nearly $8,000 of equipment from them over the past 6 years, including my current MBP.

I've purchased plenty of camera gear from them over the years. They are among the top 5 or so of reliable mail-order places for photography equipment.

GREAT!!! thanks for the feed back...i will place my order

A bunch of macs and lots of camera equipment, they often have very good deals. Plus where I live I can usually get things from them overnight with UPS ground. :)

The store is also great, if you're ever in New York it's totally worth a visit.

B&H is THE camera store. I've ordered probably $20,000-$30,000 through them while working for a company that was sponsored by them. In addition, I buy all of my personal gear through them. Plus if you ever get the chance, stop by their physical store in New York. It's quite an experience.

I got my only L lens so far from them. The 100mm 2.8 IS macro. Prompt delivery and great packaging. And I'm on the West coast.

Someone ran a question thread about B&H some time ago and one of the posts referred to them as the Tiffanies of camera stores. They are.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Jewish holiday calendar. The owners are practicing Jews and don't take orders on holidays, even on their web site.
