I recently installed the SkyDrive application for OS X, I started to migrate my stuff across from Dropbox but I seem to have come across a problem. I added my Aperture library folder but the SkyDrive application complained about various filename issues relating to special characters ("/', '@' etc). This seems like a massive showstopper to me if it can't handle valid filenames from OS X.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Perhaps because MS is using their file format for the drives which are more limited in naming then dropbox. I install SkyDrive but have not used it yet, mostly because it won't install on my work computer - silly not a win32 program error.

Same problem. When I try and sync files, I get "The folder path cannot contain the following symbols error." Not sync'd a single file yet!
