Is it possible to install Snow Leopard on one of the new MacBook Airs?

I absolutely detest Lion and seriously doubt Mountain Lion will be much better for me, personally. I read somewhere that it may be impossible due to the new hardware...

Anyone have any insight on this issue? I certainly don't want to pick up a new MBA only to find out that I can't run 10.6...

Since Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard does not include drivers for 2012 hardware, it will be quite complicated and probably impossible to install Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard onto a 2012 MBA.

You're SOL because the new chipset, GPU need updated drivers and SL does not and will not have those. Going to a new computer (with new hardware) means you leave the legacy OS behind
