Using windows 7 - need a wireless mouse

I have windows 7 on my MacBook Pro so that I can use a favourite drawing programme.
I used the mousepad to draw with quite successfully but am finding the trackpad not very responsive.
I am thinking of getting a wireless mouse, must it be Mac and windows compatible ?
It needs to be very responsive, any recommendations?
As you have probably guessed, I need a lot of support LOL.

I use my Apple Magic Mouse and it works well enough in both environments. Short of that, Logitech and Microsoft are probably the most popular options
