Hi

yesterday my mousepad not working due to falling some object and its cracked.
so
I open the cover and remove the mousepad with FLEX cable

when i turn back the cover without mousepad
my keyboard doesnt work
is it because of the mousepad that i removed or something another problem?

thanks

The keyboard and trackpad share an internal USB hub so it is possible you disconnected the hub itself or it will not work without both devices connected.

Hi

Thanks for your reply

but i saw Keyboard FLEX Cable and MousePad Flex cable are diefferent plug
in the motherboard of macbookpro

i have to replace mousepad flex cable because it is already broken
but im not so sure the keyboard flex cable if its broken too but i didnt do anything.

One thing since i dont have mousepad because i removed it with the flex cable

everytime i switch on the power its only grey color and nothing happened
i mean its not booting up
so what i did again is
Turn ON my macbook pro using macbook keyboard and pressing option + command + R its booting

so this is one of the problem when i remove the flex cable of mouse
booting up is affecting.

Thanks

You may have knocked it out or damaged something in the disassembly or assembly. Take a look to see if everything is where it should be, or as mentioned - take it to apple.
