Good morning.

So e family and I are heading down to WDW in about 3 weeks. I typically leave my black leather case on as my daily case. However, with all the rides (and I go on everything), I am concerned about durability. M

Is it worth buying a defender for the trip? Bear in mind I can get one for under $20 from my local staples.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I hate bringing my phone on roller coasters due to the fact if it falls out of your pocket you are kinda screwed. If you can get a defender for 20 and really are set on bringing your phone then you may as well do that.

Another option would be to get a waterproof bag and use the phone through that - though your Otterbox should do the same job.

When I went to a theme park, I bought one of these, and tied it to a zip on my pocket. No fear of it getting wet or falling out.

Your link is to page that is "currently unavailable". Yikes!

Decided to stick with my symmetry case and bring my tough armor just in case as a back up. Both good cases, just wish Spigen had better customer service.

I put my phone in a zip lock bag, that way I can avoid the bulk of the waterproof cases.

I'm going to WDW as well later this year and that's what I'm planning on doing :)
