I will be going off to college soon and will receive an iPad mini retina from that college. I already have a 15" rMBP but would also like to buy a keyboard case for my iPad mini as well.
The two that I am considering are the Zagg keys folio case, and the clamcase pro.
I like the look of the clamcase pro, which looks a lot like a macbook. But I don't think it has backlit keys like the Zagg.
Clamcase pro is $129
Zagg folio is $99.

Those who have one or both of these cases what are your opinions?

I have the ClamCase Pro. I was worried about it not having a backlit keyboard, but honestly, you don't really need it. The screen will provide enough light on the keys.

I pathetically always try and use the non-exsistant trackpad on mine.

I have the Clamcase Pro on my iPad 4, and the Zagg on my iPad Mini Retina.
Both are excellent, but I prefer the Zagg for the back lit keyboard.
I have since given my wife the iP4, and put the ClamCase on her iP2 and let her give them away to someone, who otherwise wouldn't have either.
I vote ZAGG!
