i got the 6+ on launch day, 16g vzw.

i knew i should of gotten 64gig.

i would love to somehow get the 64/128. i have apple care on it.

anything i can do?

Find someone who wants to trade. Or find someone who will buy it and then buy the larger storage device. That's about it...

16GB unlocked 6 plus in my area sells for $500-600 I'd say.

You can try storing stuff on the cloud like Dropbox or Google Drive although it may not do much because I'm pretty sure you can't store apps on there. Only pictures, music, movies and files.

Some people have had success by going into the carrier stores and asking to exchange sizes even outside the return window. Worth a shot.

I believe they bought at Apple but somehow the carriers are swapping them. Give customer service a call and see what they can do.

Hopefully people see this thread and think twice before
buying and think about their storage requirements.

While there are some that can do just fine on 16 GB,
quite a few will outgrow it and find it annoying.

Your only option is to sell it and buy a new one - but then that was already mentioned. There's really nothing else you can do other then post it on swappa.com, ebay, or craigslist (or even Macrumor's marketplace forum if you have 250 posts are been a member here longer then 6 months)

16GB should come with a waring-label.

"Only buy this if you plan to run the phone with stock iOS apps, because in about 1 years time you can't fit more than 5 extra apps on it anyway"

I don´t know if there is any data on average app-size but from memory I´m quite sure that most apps back in the iPhone 3gs-era where a few MB, sometimes up to about 50MB..

Fast forward a few years and the best apps and games now take 1000MB+/app..

...So by 2017 the best Apps will take about 10GB each? :)

I've had friends/family ask me about this issue and I advised them to get the 5S/32G if they could not afford the 6/64G. Good luck.

Like others have said, try selling it and using the proceeds towards a 64GB. 16GB is barely any storage, specially with how big the iOS updates are now (4+ gigs). My girlfriend had to delete almost everything from her i5 in order to update to the latest iOS, and even then after she was done she barely had half of her capacity left.

Exactly. When people I know ask for my opinion, I always advise them to buy the next storage size up from what they think they will need.

iPhones are so user friendly, they always end up using it for more then they planned on originally.

Personally, I don't think they should offer anything under 32GB minimum.

Exactly. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. So many people regret the 16GB. I hear it almost daily.

To be honest, that's what I thought I should've done but I didn't, lol. I feel like 32GB would've been perfect for me, but surprisingly I'm getting by with 16GB again. Thanks to Dropbox and Spotify!

Exactly. I buy the max storage size whether I need it or not. With no SD card slot, it's a one time chance to get it right.

Not to mention people like me, who travel a lot, cannot rely on streaming alone.
