Yes, an iPhoto update came with Mac OSX update in separated packages. So, i supposed it was just in order to make iPhoto compatible with this version.... well... lets see if it persists. If it does, i will reinstall iPhoto, then reinstall OS.. bla bla bla..
BTW i really miss the old times careful Apple you know??

Turn off your macbook pro, unplug it, take the battery out, hold down the power button for a few seconds. Put the battery back in, plug it in, and start the computer. See if that works. It's happened to me before and this tends to fix it.

Downloading the combo but I won't be installing for several days. This is the public beta phase of 10.6.5, and I'd like to thank everyone in this thread for being so eager to participate today. :D

Anyone here with a new 24" or 27" iMac (2009-2010) who has tried out SDL games in fullscreen mode?
For instance Doom3, Quake4, Prey, Amnesia, Penumbra, etc.
You can download a demo from most of these games.

Just curious if your Mac mouse arrow will disappear from the screen after the game has been launched?

I can't say about other hardware, but a rather large amount of 'new' iMacs can have this bug in 10.6.5. It's a small but annoying bug... It's a timing issue that is responsible for this bug where the mouse is to late to hide behind the window. Just to be clear, it's only in fullscreen mode!! Windowed mode is not affected by this...

Same KP I get in 10.6.4 with my reflashed ATI 4870. What graphics card do you have installed?

I have the standard one that came with iMac 27" i5 the ATI Radeon HD 4850..

O God, another Graphic Card issue??? Lets see if anyone else has the same problem...

I´m finaly back!

with a now fine working 10.6.5 (for the moment)

and the good thing except the shock ... I learnd something new troobleshooting my mac :)

Wow, this thread grows REALLY fast. Anyway, 10.6.5 was installed nicely, but had one side effect for me. It ruined my 3 finger drag trick, so it looks like I have to redo it.

In the 2010 iMacs, it used to say SDHC card reader in System Profiler, even though they were SDXC's. Apple seems to have removed the SD Card Reader type entirely from System Profiler now.

This Fix works great. Printing to a Brother 8660DN shared from a MBP over Airport. Even allows me to choose if I want to duplex or not.:)

I can understand why Apple pulled Airprint from build 10H574.

For me PDF's print flawlessly, while Word or Excel pages have problems with formatting.
i.e. word documents get printed with double line spacing from the phone. Single line spacing from my MBP.:confused:

Hope Apple works out the bugs soon. It's a must have for any IOS mobile......:eek:

I am having the same issue, but I am on an iMac late 2007. But I only loose connection for 30-60 seconds, but it happens every 5-10 minutes, it kind of sucks that until I can find a fix, or restore my iMac back to 10.6.4, I have resorted to using a wired mouse, I'm not happy.

Reset the SMC on your iMac

Scroll down and look for:
Resetting the SMC for Mac Pro, Intel-based iMac, Intel-based Mac mini, or Intel-based Xserve
Link for instructions on how to do it. Very easy.
