Made some major changes to my setup sine my last post. Got a new 13" MBP and sold the 20" iMac and my old MBP. I just got the intuos4 tablet today and a bigger monitor is next on the list. Also shown is my new 4s that i got a week ago. I know i still need to do some cable management but I ran out of tie-wraps.

Used to have the same exact lamp but ended up throwing it out a few years ago. Those things get hot.

Not too sure if I posted in here before, but here's my setup. I hook my 13" Macbook Pro up to the LCD and I use the magic mouse + keyboard. I'm in the process of cleaning up the wires and what not to make it a bit cleaner.

I laugh when I go through my old setups from a few years ago on here. Old G4s galore. Lol now I just have a pc and an iPad and I'm content. Still got the PM G4 in the garage though. Never will I get rid of my first real Mac.

I like when people say that they are 14 and they are paying for stuff which costs a bit under a $2500.

It sounds very funny, because dad and mum are giving money for them and then they are "PAYING FOR IT" for they'r own money.

I'm 16 and my 20" iMac does all I need, if not more - and I'm kind of a demanding user (Photoshop / Illustrator CS5).

Exactly, I'm 14, and have a Powerbook G4 and an eMac... I work 6 days a week after and before school... And to be honest with you, I can't afford much more than two G4's, let alone 2 brand spanking new Intel Macs...

It's the Z Line Gemini desk from Staples. It's about a hundred bucks.

And to be honest with you, it was the worst $100 I've ever spent. The wood is some flimsy particle board. It seems to be doing fine for fireman, but if you throw a big iMac on it and a desk full of other stuff, I wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw it.

I will say I am not happy with the desk either. Cable management sucks on this desk and it is starting to bow from the weight. I will be replacing this desk shortly

I don't have an iMac, but from your review I can tell that it won't support my CRT or the television that will replace the CRT that I'm buying soon (I'm trying to find one that doubles as both).

I would like to know so I can sell my current Mac and upgrade to the one of 2011 models

lol sure. Let me start by saying that my parents are quite generous...however i still do have to work for my money. That said, i get paid for doing normal household chores and cutting the lawn. I also cut neighbors lawns in the spring and summer and in the fall i rake leaves for them and in the winter (if it snows......virginia...theres not telling lol.) then ill shovel snow for them...its hard work but it defiantly pays off in the end.

Edit: Oh and selling stuff i don't need any more.

How long did it take you to save up for your iMac?
how much do you get paid for each time you shovel snow (Im in the Greater toronto area so theirs quite some snow)
How long do you think it would take me to save up approximately $450 ( so I can sell my current air and iPhone and upgrade to a high end 11' 2011 MBA)
