Right hand side navigation bar not loading (UK users)
When I opened MR main page the navigation bar did not load at all.
The articles loaded OK, but right hand side contained only one ad... Tried to refresh, clear the cache etc. Anyone else seeing this? Trebor.

Update.
I am ruling out problems with my laptop as my gf's Air is showing the exact same thing
When I remote to my work PC and try from Mozilla on Windows it works as it should Both laptops here at home use Safari, latest and greatest... Thanks for comments but I am not really looking for help, my intention was to let MR administrators know just in case if this is a real issue on their servers

If it was an issue with the servers, I would imagine all users would be experiencing the effects.

Final update.
Problem seem to be with a rogue ad (Morrisons), which broke the layout and hid the navigation bar (and page footer) completely: I can still see the bar content in the page sources.
Problem will therefore (most likely) affect only UK users ... Changing the User Agent string from Default to something else does nothing, but when changed back to Default it will refresh the page and display correctly. On next refresh the problem is apparent again... Error console shows nothing. Sometimes on refresh the ad will be displayed at the bottom of the page (as opposed to the top of navigation bar) but still "swallow" both navigation bar and the page footer. Bit annoying ![]() Trebor.

If it happens again, can you send us a screenshot of the ad to tips@macrumors.com - We can see about getting it out of the rotation. arn |
