I'm happy with only the remembering choice for reopening windows when logging back in fix. Thanks Apple.

PC Keyboard issue fix works, am delighted after struggling with this for years as I have to use a specialist keyboard. Just select Input Sources - British PC.

After Software Update took 5 MINUTES to find ONE UPDATE (I understand this is normal?), the file size weighs in at 729.6 MB for my MacBook Pro 13".

I am SO confused why Apple couldn't have made this update a tad bit smaller. I mean, come on. Cheetah 3D, various media players and even my entire iPhoto library don't weigh that much. I would hope that Apple could be more efficient. And I wish there was an option to update only one feature. For me it would be the checkbox fix.

I really want to know why the MBA update is about half the size.

UPDATE: Safari is also included in the update as are several other items and fixes. That explains the size.

Probably the last update to Lion since Mountain Lion is likely debuting next month.

All copies of OS X are the same, regardless of the hardware it runs on. This way, you can take out the hard-drive with OS X from one Mac and put it into a completely different one, and it will work just fine!

Interesting. Thanks.

The 10.7.4 update installs Safari 5.1.6

But, I just checked Apple's Support website, and there is a Safari 5.1.7 that has just been added today. I went ahead and grabbed the newer version, just to make sure I was up-to-date. The "new" version does feel faster and more responsive.

Just giving you a heads-up.

Here is the link for Safari 5.1.7:

I seriously hope the omnibar in Safari 5.2 is optional, i really hate it ._.

And yeah, just "Power + Enter" instead of "Power + Space + Enter"

I also don't like Safari 5.2's omnibar, or the way it arranges its tabs. I don't see the appeal of the omnibar. I still IE 8 over 9 and Firefox 3.6 over whatever version it is now (I lost count) because of this!

That's good to know. With shift, right?

Option-Shift. Shift just turns off volume feedback (or turns it on if you have it off by default).

Never noticed that. Also, I think the Software Update icon has changed, but I'm not sure if it is just with this update or from before.

Fine grade volume controls are back! Hallelujah!
Works with the backlight control too.

Btw, you need to hit shift-option plus the corresponding keys.

Seems like they've added some of the features that are in the Mountain Lion DP to Lion with this release. I think that for some Lion really has gotten a bit better now :)

Maybe Mountain Lion is a free upgrade for Lion users :D

Or maybe not

Don't really see a difference there. But the little world icon in Safari and e.g. Spotlight has definitely changed:

Finally. Why was that taken away in the first place?!

Can someone post the build #. Thanks.

Not so fast..

After 10.7.3 hosed my hard drive partition (and Spotlight failed, I had to restore manually) I think I'll sit this one out for a while.
