It's probably just something from QA, or the factory, but I thought it was amusing to find this light blue laminated card in the MBP box... Does anybody know what it says? (maybe it's a "golden" (blue) ticket to tour Apple's secret factory) :p

it's foxconn worker's card,

basically says the working guidelines, follow SOP, wear static bracelet, make sure everything is right before changing shift etc..

this is very rare!

Your kidding yourself if you don't think someone would pay for it.

Haha, why course they would wouldn't they! I mean, those things must be in the production value range of thousands! Oh, and isn't it just a thing of beauty?? Collectors item there for sure.

Yeah,on the back of the card,in the last paragraphy,'4 you must finish your job at hand and leave this card on the workbench before you have a break or leave work.' and next line is 'Done!' It must be some tired worker mistakenly put it in your box, poor guy:p.Anyway,it is a special gift for you, keep it!

Oh no!
That means there is a guy in the Foxcon factory not foliowing SOPs, wearing static bracelets or completing things before going on a break/finishing his shift.

All our MBPs will be sub-par!
:p

I am Chinese, and because your post have become a news on a chinese tech website calledCnbeta http://cnbeta.com/articles/192177.htm,so I want to give you some clue about it.

Well, it's all fun and games until the Chinese press covers it. :) Thank you for the link.

Update: Just ran the story through Google Translate. (The reporter is right: It is important to learn a foreign language. But I'm an American, so...)

from what I read on the news, the working condition in foxXXXXX is not that great. Workers suicide, stressful and long working hours (repetitive works), treated like in the army...and so forth
