northernbaldy macrumors 6502a Nov 19, 2012 #2 What devices do you have on your network? And do you have a static ip address set up on anything?
Gav2k macrumors G3 Nov 19, 2012 #3 Amusing that you scrubbed the local IP address. Anyway something on your network is keeping hold of it's IP address and causing that message. I presume your network isn't static and set to dhcp.

jbrown macrumors 6502a Original poster Nov 19, 2012 #4 I know next to nothing about this 😱 No other devices on my network except my iPhone. I know I have an IP address - whether it's static or not I don't know. I'm assuming ( maybe incorrectly ) that another computer/device is using my id ( IP address )..... cheers

Tomorrow macrumors 604 Nov 19, 2012 #5 Yep, that's pretty much it. Easiest way to fix it is to manually set the device's IP address to something else, even if your router is using DHCP.
