They are saying $50 drop NOT off though, big difference in wording from the MRbot tile.

What?!?! How is this "shady" or "tricky"? The ad clearly states that this is a 3rd generation iPad and it states that right next to the iPad label. The "3rd generation" note isn't buried in small fine print anywhere. Sheesh...I know BB isn't the best electronics retailer out there, but come on...there's nothing shady about what they are doing.

Shady? Not at all.

Tricky? Not in the strictest sense.
Not "tricky", as in "deceitful", but "tricky", as in "I almost jumped on this deal before I read the details." :eek:
The advertising drew me in (like it should have), but the full-disclosure kept me from taking action.

People clueless about iPad models might think they're getting a better deal than they actually are. Then there's the additional commitment to spend $75 more via the gift card, which isn't all that great if you're not a Best Buy shopper.

Bottom line, I still agree with you. :)

Everything is legit. Everything has been disclosed.
