Having had a nasty episode of pneumonia earlier this year, I'm grateful to be alive and fully recovered. At times it felt like the end was very near. I'm also grateful for my family, our health, and our jobs.

But above all things, I'm thankful for God's love and the privileged life I'm allowed to live.

Good friends, the past election, available work, and the new 15" rMBP which has changed computing forever.

Also health of those around me, friends and family etc. Historically this tends to be the case with most families and groups of people I think.

Life, it's good for me, although I acknowledge it's terrible for many. Whatever the obstacles are, I hope we as individuals and as a species can navigate the rough waters to find happiness in our collective existence, that does not necessarily end with this Earthly life of ours.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

I am thankful because I have a good job, I have opportunities, I have options, I have friends.

This last year I faced a mayor depression and I have been about to lose my job several times, having no money and in living in the US without understanding many things, many times about to be in the street and no support from parents because I am already 37.

But I have found help here and there, I keep low profile, I meditated, I had my job and money to take therapies. I have no girlfriend but I am not desperate looking for caring and being needy as I used to.

I am thank full because God wants me here and is giving me the tools to be here. I feel I am not the best but I am way better than many people who are lost and covering up their learning experience with party, sex, drugs and vandalizing other people's souls.

I am thankful for the opportunities because things always can be worst and I am going to the opposite direction in small steps but in the right direction.
