Actually, "midnight Friday" will be at 12:00 am on Friday, which is Friday morning. But that is not what was meant when the phrase was used.

Update. I pulled the trigger on the Amazon deal with $25 off and no tax to pay.
also got an 8GB Ram kit for $34 to go with it. I took the free shipping which is not fast but is free and usually gets to me in a week. I can wait.
