Yeah, Fred Hoyle's buddy Chandra Wickramasinghe. Hoyle did important work before he went off the deep end a few decades ago.
Am I the only one who remembers their nonsensical criticism of Archaeopterix? It was beyond bizarre, and shown (many times over) to be completely wrong. But that didn't stop them from blathering on. Anything with Wickramasinghe's name on it needs careful vetting, because he doesn't have a good reputation as a careful researcher.
