I have a iPad2, and all of a sudden it will not syc with iTunes on any computer, the computers see it, I have tried win7, Lion, Mountain Lion, Leopard! No soap! It will not syc WiFi. It will not update to 6.0.1 wifi(failed). Can connect WiFi, bluetooth, was stuck in safe mode, finally got that resolved, did it by hard boot, and boot back up with the sound in the up depressed while booting. Time is correct, iTunes is up to date, will syc my iPhone no problem all computers, changed around USB ports, changed cables, even changed name on iPad. Have tried so many things I've forgotten most of them, you can forget rebuild thru iTunes, can't syc. Makes me think I'm missing a file in files on iPad Even tried to send 5.1.1 file thru Dropbox.

Am I bricked??? Jert

So your iPad is jailbroken, right? Well, if you don't mind losing your jailbreak, the solution is simple. Put your iPad in DFU mode, and restore with iOS 6.0.1. If you want to keep your jailbreak... I'm not sure, I haven't really kept up with the latest jailbreak methods. I'd post in the iOS hacks forum (http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php?f=105) for help.

If you're jailbroken and updated iTunes to the latest version, that might have caused your problem. Any way you can revert back to an earlier version of iTunes and try that?

I had a springboard crash, had to delete mobile subsrate, and yes it was jailbroke. I had to bite the bullet and update to 6.0.1 didn't want to, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, have to wait for jailbreak for 6. Love my WiFi hotspot on iPhone to aid iPad! Best GPS around, but that's my opinion. Thanks again

Do a clean restore to 6.0.1, should fix it.
