Is everyone reading the screen that tells you to go to the SB and click the icon? 😕
That icon does the reboot. Si basically you’re doing it manually.

Just a general JB question, don't want to start a new thread:

I know OTA software updates are a no-no when jailbroken, but what about OTA app updates? I updated two apps last night at home on wifi without thinking about it, and just a few minutes ago selected to update an app here at work while connected to wifi.

Should this be ok?

I have an iPhone 5 that was on 6.0. Yesterday, I upgraded to 6.1 and then applied the jailbreak. It went quite smoothly and without complication. I found, like others, that the weather app was broken. I expected that, but more importantly, SIRI would no longer work. It would recognize my voice and command, but could not connect and just came back with a "there is a problem" message. I restarted, hard restarted, and waited over night. Still SIRI was broken. Thankfully, I did a backup and have just done a complete restore. My phone is not jailbroke, but everything works again.

I usually know better than jumping on the first release, I should have waited until all the bugs are identified and fixed.

I am jail broken but SMS GV Extension or Google Phone Extension are not compatible with io6. Is this coming? anyone else waiting on these GV extensions?

When I tried to load them, my phone would not reboot and I had to go into DFU mode and restore.

It's just the OS update you don't do OTA.

even tried restoring but to no avail
should i update the OS using OTA? any impact later with jailbreak?

What version of iOS is on your iPad? Is it a beta version?

Help, after I jailbroke my iPhone 5 (sprint) on 6.1, my Wifi and 3G became SUPER slow . I'm getting a 1000+ ms ping on WIFI and about 0.3Mbps down/0.3 Up while on my laptop I get a 50ms ping and a 0.94Mbps Down and 0.37Mbps Up.. 3G this morning was between 1.2-2.3Mbps Down/1Mbps Up, now it's terrible slow at 0.3 Down but the up is still around 0.8. wtf happened ?

Ok, So I have JB my iphone 5 iOS 6.1.
I installed SBsettings, Winterboard, Activator, Five icon Dock and a couple of Superman themes.
Now I don't get my notifications on my lock screen. Does anyone know the cause or how to fix it?

Turning off my superman theme fixed this issue.

That doesn't look good. I hope they don't start blacklisting our devices.

I've been trying to JB my old iphone 4. I'm running just like I did on my 5 and my ipad, but no dice. It seems to be stuck about 20% of the way into the process. Thoughts? Do I just kill evasion and try again?

Did you respring? Stats are cleared when you respring. Fully charge to 100% again and see if the stats come back after you unplug it.

Yaaayyy .. Endless boot loop.. Now, whatthehell..

I was just messing around in Intelliscreenx trying to figure out how it worked and the last thing i saw was DashboardX duplicating my widgets .. ****!!!


Edit: the phone booted by itself lol. And when I came in no tweak was enabled. Like, Cydia was there but nothing worked - and no it wasn't safe mode. Well, it didn't look like it. Back on the old 3G the safemode looked like a gray UI etc, but this was just normal. Rebooted and there it was, all the widgets back in place.

This is really strange, haha. I don't want it this unstable.

Your hosts file might have been tampered with. Turn off all TinyUmbrella features. I kept getting these messages until I did so.

Phantom Phone Pad Solved

The culprit was not the new jailbreak, but rather outdated Call Log Pro,which is incompatible with 6.1.Uts a great app,please update it!

Jailbreak went smooth for me. Couple of bugs from apps not updated yet. But I just had a huge issue. My MAIL app will not open. It wil open and close immediately. I deleted any recent program I just downloaded. I also did a soft reset by holding the power and the home button. The mail app still won't work. HELP please

Been a while since I saw that, first happened at least 2 JBs ago.
Restart in safe mode, then restart and all should be fine.

I wonder if using the cloud backup is causing any issues?

Volume button issues

Volume up works as usual. Volume down goes all the way down with a single push. Basically mutes iPad 2.

Anybody else experiencing this? I haven't (at least knowingly) installed any volume button mods.

Try a hard reboot. I had that problem and that fixed it for me.

I'm having the same issues.. So a restart in Safe Mode and a subsequent restart afterwards should resolve this issue or will it keep occurring? What offending Cydia apps could cause this to happen?

Every time i go into settings and click general, the settings app crashes. Anyone else?

Also, reboots specifically do not work. Just gets stuck at apple logo.
