Disclaimer:This is a very stupid topic and I didn't know where else to put it ...

now for some reason I am wishing that I was born in the year 1990 so I could have been not 2 when the clock struck 2000, the computers were better, and the super soakers were fricking huge!!!
It had it's advantages... but I think one of the things that is not fully appreciated about today is how much smaller everything (technology wise - in a very broad sense) is. There the obvious computers, telecommunications, etc etc.... but... we have a water fountain for our cat. Don't ask... we just do... My point is that a lot of water is being moved by a very little pump. My car engine is a fraction of the size of what it would have been several decades ago, and puts out more power and less emissions. We are now able to measure individual atoms, and the time it takes a light to move several feet. In the 2000s, everything was bigger and heavier.
Also I have been wondering if I should move to canada or seattle because it could be better than california for crime
You have to define "crime." But... I will just point out if you want to measure crimes against people Canada's most dangerous city is safer than the safest city in the US. However, if you are a car then you're toast in Vancouver BC as it has more car break-ins than anywhere else in North America - by some measures.
I will just point out, though... you can't just "move to Canada" unless you already have a connection. We are sovereign nation with laws and restrictions on immigration. We mark you on a point system.... so many points for being younger; so many for different levels of education; points for being skilled in a field Canada needs people in; points for speaking French, etc etc... When you have enough points you get to apply for landed immigrant status... and then you wait while we process the paperwork.
Thanks for anybody who gives me any answers
You're welcome, eh?

Personally, I've been toying with the idea of moving out of the USA and into a country where citizens don't have to worry much ....
See my note above...with few exceptions, you can't just move to another country.
To the above poster-Terrorism targets anyone, even India or they can even target Canada.
Yeah, but more people drown in their bathtubs than are killed by terrorists in those countries. The whole point of terror is make us, well, 'terrified'... it's not necessary to actually kill that many people.
Go to Canada! No healthcare *********!
With apologies, but we have a terrific healthcare system. It's not perfect, and there is always room for improvement... but by most measures we rank near the top for being healthy, and for longevity. Don't confuse the Canadian love of complaining about really petty things for systemic failures. And yes, there is still lots of room for improvement. It's sort of a "We have the worst system in the world, except for most of the others..."
