Well, still no update for me.

I think we need a petition or something. Not enough people are filing feedback or maybe just maybe they'd bring it back (wasn't hurting anything). I filed feedback.

I have now reported over a dozen bugs with the "new & improved" iTunes 11.

When I have called, they send me down a LONG laboureous road of reinstalling EVERYTHING - which is BS because it didn't fix the problems, NONE OF THEM!!

It's a piece of **** and Apple should be ashamed.

I just updated to iTunes 11.0.2 (26) and that annoying question about incoming connections (or whatever it was) is now gone, even with the firewall turned on.
