I have the new iMac which doesn't come with a CD drive but I need to clear EVERYTHING I ADDED to return it to Apple due to a stuff up in my order/build.

How can I ensure I wipe everything, inc passwords, ID's etc before I return it?

Many details online are for older iMac's. I do now have a USB CD drive.
Software = OS X 10.8.3 (12D78)

You should be able to do a clean install by booting to the recovery partition (cmd-r), select the the disk utility, erase the drive and after exiting the disk utility proceed to the install.

Be sure to back your system up, as you'll lose all your data.
