I tried a Moto G and there is nothing it can do better than an iPhone ....
It's a very good cheap phone .... but still a cheap phone.

Can you put 2 sims in a iPhone.
Battery last twice as long as iPhone
Call reception is better than iPhone
Call quality is better than iPhone
Has a notification light for missed calls/messages. iPhone flashing led is useless.
1/2 inch screen is better.

There's a few:)

If you want to try Android, the only way to go is Nexus.
I bought a nexus 7 for 229€ (32 GB version), so I can play with vanilla KitKat ....

Not so bad, but the iOS ecosystem is on another league in my opinion.

It took me all of one day to return the new Samsung Tab
Pro. It was on sale at BB so I figured why not try it. The same thing with the LG 8.3 tablet, returned it fairly quickly.

I have the Nexus 7 as well. I do not think I will try another Android tablet. Maybe a Nexus 8. :)

Moto G isn't dual sim

In your dream maybe. In the real world Moto G was tested for something like 9 hrs web browsing and 6-7 hrs of video playback while iPhone 5s is 10 hrs web browsing and 10 hrs video playback

Call quality is better than iPhone

Absolutely subjective ....
There are no complains about iPhone reception or call quality.

A notification light .... Wow ... I really missed it. It was 1999 last time I used a notification on my Sony Ericsson not-smartphone

I will stay far from any Samsung product.
To be honest the nexus is a very good tablet, and KitKat is not bad.
But iOS is another thing ...

Funny i have 2 sims in my Moto G:roll eyes:
As far as battery i had a 5S so i know, my last charge was after a day and 1/2 and still 40% left with b/tooth and wifi on constant. 5s would be flat in a day or less:)
Call quality/reception is better i didn't say the 5S was no good, Moto G is better.
Here you go seeing as you like links. WRONG again:)

Only 1/2 inch of the screen is better? So, for the rest of the screen the iPhone is better? I can live with that.

I meant bigger is better. ;)

I did the same too....!!

I have been an apple user from 2007 and have owned iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4 & 5.

Recently I bought a note 3 as I wanted a large screen...but after few months of use....I concluded nothing can be better than iPhone and iOS...so got a 64 Gb Gold iPhone 5s :D

Your link is useless (an Australian store that sells a dual sim version), mine were proofs for my claims.
Reception is better because you said so ?
Battery is better because you said so ?
Give me a break ....

My links demonstrate that a test (performed by an android biased website !) showed Moto G to be not better than iPhone 5S. Period.
Moto G is just a cheap android phone .... a very good one in its class, but still a cheap android phone.

Oh never mind, there are quite a few in this forum :p

Well this is the difference between iPhone 5s and Samsung Note 3 and sorry but note 3 wins!

The Note 3's battery is superior to the iPhone, there's no arguing that. There are things that the Note 3 does better and other things that the iPhone does.

I've been contemplating getting the Note 3, and some things I found were a bit concerning. Call quality from the speaker and some sort of GPS issue. With that said, there are lot of things going for the Note 3 as well. I've not yet decided to switch platforms but all I can say is there is no wrong decision. You get the phone that best fits your needs.

I'll put on my moderator hat on now
Some of this arguing us downright silly and will cause this thread to get locked. Lets tone it down a bit and stay on topic and be courteous to each other.

I'm not arguing that mate.
Note 3 is ridiculously huge compared to a 5s, and it has a much bigger battery.
Still the difference is not so big in many uses (look at the web browsing number for example).

There is no winner or loser in such a comparison, since they are playing on different playgrounds (one is a phablet while the other is a very portable smartphone)

The real problem behind Note 3 in my opinion is the Samsung brand ....
After a week of Nexus 7 usage I can say for sure that if a "nexus 5.5" would exist, it could be a good phablet.
My two cents.

I don't know why so many here hate Samsung. Although from owning both there are a few things that are just simply better on the 5s.

Call quality
Radio signal
Speaker quality

Everything else is subjective.
I can't speak about others but in my case Samsung is just the only manufacturer able to design a very good hardware, assemble it with crappy materials and ugly design and then fill it with a tons of bloatware and gimmick. Period.

I lately felt on love with android KitKat on my nexus 7 (I was one of the early adopters of droids back in the 1.5 age) , but when I use my wife s3 or my son's s4 I really understand how bad Samsung is ....
When speaking about android, nexus is the only way to go IMHO.

You see I'm actually quite the opposite. I have a Nexus 7 too but stock android is so bland and boring to me. I've also been using android since way back on cupcake, even longer than iOS. I actually like the extra features that come with touchwiz. Never saw it as a burden, if it's a feature I don't use I just disable it. The IR blaster is crazy convenient.

De gustibus non est disputandum .... Touchwiz is the king of the bloatware in my opinion.

Are you just trolling the forum ?
