What are your 5 most expensive pieces of electronics in your house

15" Retina MacBook Pro
iPhone 5
iPad Mini
My left Adam A7X speaker
My right Adam A7X speaker

I saw these two threads together on the front page and thought there might be a connection.

Various Macs over the years cost a bundle. I don't even want to try pricing them out. But given that $4k for a regular Macintosh (with monitor) was not unheard of...which would probably equal $10K in today's money...

My 40" Samsung TV retailed at $3,100 back in 2006. Now it would probably cost $300 new.

Electric guitar with amps and my Yamaha keyboard are probably up there.

The A/V system (reciever and speakers) up there.

I don't know if I want to think about the price of everything. But they bring much joy and use....so, I can't complain.

So what exactly counts as an electronic? Because I'm pretty sure my refrigerator is on that list. Ditto for my oven/stove. But I guess if we're not counting kitchen appliances even though they're electronic, I have:

60" LED TV
15" Retina MBP
PS4
40" LCD TV (probably not worth much now)
Home theater receiver+speakers

The Baxi tankless water heater/furnace in the basement is by far the most expensive bit of electronics in this house. Not even including the cost of installation.

However, the appliances are mostly the old "dumb" kind, and I plan to keep it that way as long as possible.

This is a really good way to give information to a potential burglar.... Kudos to OP for social engineering skills.

Pretty sure you could walk into any random house in any middle class neighborhood and find everything, or at least very similar items, on most people's lists.

It's not like somebody said "I have a 80 inch plasma, PS4, XB1 and Mac Pro, my address is 123 Main Street and I'll be out of town next week".

My apple stuff is most expensive.
