Name what it is, and how much you paid and what its worth today. Because we all know electronics drop so fast in value.

AnYways mine is over the top. But pretty much every electronic i have i didnt pay full retail price on....otherwise i wouldnt have this much. At times im a bit overwhelmed just trying to make good use of everything ha, but i have no social life so the weekends is devoted to my gadgets.

3 year old MBP with upgrades - $1350, $700
2 year old 60" Sony Bravia LCD - $780, $500
Canon T5i - $680, $600
ipad Air - $400, $400
PS4 and XB1 - $130 and $370, $400 and $400.

Then below that is ipad mini retina.

Top 5 that I have purchased myself (not necessarily in my house..)

5 year old MBP, $2500, $200*
Panasonic FZ-100 camera, $499, $200 w/ accessories
iPod touch 4g 32GB, $299, $100
Mac Mini 2009, $799, $325
Kindle Touch, $99, $28

*It would probably sell at close to $500 stock, but many parts have needed replacements :(

The only thing bought new on that list is the camera. Everything else has been bought used.

Just going to offer categories/generalities rather than specifics, and not in any particular order:

Camera bodies and lenses (Nikon, Sony, including a couple of rare Nikon lenses)
Macs (2012 iMac, 2013 rMBP plus several older machines)
iPad Mini Retina, iPad Air (both are the current versions)
iPhone 5 S
Bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHAs) (These little sound processors cost upwards of $4000 each, not to mention the costs of surgery and audiology services)

Only have four. :p

You only have 4 electronic devices in your house?

My car is electric and in the garage which is part of my house... Does that count? :D

My gaming PC is probably the most expensive thing. I have an Nvidia Titan in it which was $1000 by itself along wight the rest of the nonsense inside. The TV would be next I'd guess followed by my iPhone/iPad/gaming consoles, but I don't know how they'd be ordered. Although my air conditioner, water heater, washer, dryer, dish washer, fridge, oven.... Those things might interject themselves into the list too.

Far away from liberals
My bass guitars and amps: about $6000
My stereo equipment over: $6000
My AV equipment: over $5000
My watches: a few thousand dollars
My tools and electronic test equipment : many thousands of dollars

My house is alarmed with video surveillance. Someone is always here 24/7. So don't get any ideas :)

Guess you can consider my iPhone as well, since i paid 590 euros for it. I have two 4tb WD external drives that cost me 300 euros each, and a 2tb TC as well.

Tell me about those rare Nikon Lenses please.

I guess technically I should've said "Nikon MOUNT Lenses...." since only one is actually a Nikon lens per se.

The Noct/Nikkor..... Nikon's fabled f/1.2 58mm lens

The famed "Bokina" (Tokina 90mm f/2.5 which comes with an extender to make it 1:1

Kiron/Vivitar Series 1 90mm f/2.5 macro

I have yet to get around to purchasing an adapter to mount these on my Sony NEX-7, but they are treasures on my Nikon bodies. Just don't use them enough......

  • MacBook Pro, $2500 with upgrades. Now probably $1000 at least, thanks to the highly-desirable ISO keyboard.
  • MacBook, $1500 with upgrades. Now probably $400 with SSD upgrade.
  • LG laptop PC. $800 as new, probably less than $100 now. PCs are worth nothing.
  • Multifunction color Laserjet. $850 as new, FOR SALE at $500.
  • Sony radio clock, iPod dock station. $200, can't remember. Ex æquo: external FW800 G-Drive, $212.
Plus router, modem, various HDD, Raspberries Pi, two VHS decks (one needs repairs), 13" CRT TV, small Samsung laser printer. Retired D-Link router, many outdated parts.
Unrepairable inkjet printers, headed for dangerous goods dumpyard.

I laugh at others compared to mine.

  1. The laptop in my sig. $1,143 new (1099 + an Apple USB Dial up Modem! No joke, we were late to the cable internet game) + a couple upgrades. Today: $50, if that? (Second) Battery is swollen and useless :p
  2. My current phone - HTC One V. $49.99 on sale. Today: $0-5
  3. My old phone - LG Optimus V (great for travel alarms). $149.99. Today: $0-5
  4. My Nikon Coolpix S560. I think it was about $150-200. Today: $25 was the cheapest I found online.
  5. Either my Nintendo DS Lite or my iPod Classic (80 GB). Both I think were $199 new, both I'd wager would get me ~$50 tops.

I'm a poor tech junky, what can I say? Love to keep up with the latest news and devices, just don't want to buy them, heh. The laptop is due for an upgrade. I'm debating a Chromebook + Steam Machine combo perhaps by the end of the year.
