Hi. Tried to install windows 7 through usb on my rMBP. Everything went smoothly untill i got to the actuall windows install part, where it got as far as expanding windows files and it got stuck on 65%. After about 15 minutes of it being stuck on this i gave up and deleted the partition and am now back to just running OS X on an unpartitioned drive. any suggestions to get the install to work?

I think you might have been a bit impatient. I would have let it sit there for a bit longer.

In the past, I set the install to go, and leave the computer to itself, when its finally at that point of expanding/installing. I then come back an hour later and see where its at.

I would have waited a bit longer than 15 minutes as well.

Give it another try and make sure you have a large enough partition for everything with room to grow.
