real story:
i was jogging in a very nice neighborhood today and saw some think different posters waiting on the curb to be trashed.
being the mac fanatic that i am i couldn't let them go. so i bought them home. there are 3 posters, a gandhi, ansel adams, and hitchcock - all with the rainbow apple logo on them. i quickly googled the posters and saw to my dismay there are a lot of reproductions floating around. i measured them they are all 24" x 36" - and the copyright logos look legit.
unfortunately they are not mint. the original owner had them pasted onto thick cardstock - i guess to display. there is a logo of the framing company on the back of the posters, a small shop in rhode island, so i imagined this was "professionally done". however they used screws with wires to mount them, and after time some of the pressure has eroded onto the poster, causing two pressure points that can be seen in the front.
so my question, are these originals? or just reproductions?
i've uploaded photos. let the debate begin!
junk yard trash, or treasure?
