So I have been calling once in the morning and once at night to the 877 number for status. This just happened:

me: *puts in order number*
nice lady: your order has shipped. Please hold for the tracking number.
me: YAY!
nice lady: *click*

So I pull up the order status page. No tracking number.

me: *will just call back and get it that way* *calls and puts in her order number*
nice lady: we're sorry, your item is currently on backorder.

WAY TO PLAY WITH MY EMOTIONS ATT!!!!!! I have no clue if my order actually shipped or not, but I'm leaning toward no. :(

They need to quit messing with your emotions smokey!i just called I still hear back order ohhhhh the pain
 
Did anyone preorder the 6+ for 64gb Silver?

I did! Sept 12th around 3AM est
No updates I called the 877 # and 611 they both say back order but online says shipment pending I will try again in the morning!

So I just got off the phone with att. The CSR says that the iPhone 6+ 16gb was the most popular phone ordered and that's why I haven't gotten it yet. BS. Then I started in about the first come, first serve and she in so many words told me it wasn't true. These mfers are so ass-backwards. Toros I'm calling and getting, at minimum, a $75 credit. #attfail
 
AT&T Sept.19 and After iPhone 6 Plus Orders

I ordered my iPhone 6 plus on sept. 19th and the ship date on AT&T website says 11/09 - 11/27...is anyone else who ordered on the 19th or after getting such long ship times?
 
Did anyone take notice to a earlier post where a person called the $75 credit something like Customer Quality something??

Many of us ordered on 11-13th and we have a shipping date of nov 9-nov27
 
So confused and angry and ready to give up.

Have been reading posts on couple different threads for 2 weeks now. Just so upset with all this preorder garbage. Thought if I post maybe it would help me vent and maybe once I get my phone maybe help someone else with same details as myself.

I can't take it anymore. I have called 877 # at least 20 times a day for the past 4 days. It seems like that is what is the trigger. Once it goes from backordered to processing we r good to go.


Just don't understand why some dates have moved for people from in November when they ordered and skipped me and went to the 10/2 date and now from reading on other threads they have their phone already. I am still backordered. Soooooo. Maddddddd
 
yes it is just a phone but I have to admit I've never preordered before. At my age I wasn't going to go to the store. 82 , don't drive and blind DH and it was easier to do it on the phone. I should have waited for a later date and had son take me store. Actually I don't blame att. I blame apple for this.

The stores were a madhouse, Ellie. And it's still hard to find a Plus in any store. And you would have had to stand in long lines. Normally, preordering goes smoothly for my husband and me. We've also stood in line on launch day at the AT&T store last year and that went well, too. We were in line 45 minutes and got the 5s models we wanted. Only color selection was limited.

This year my friends tried to stand in line at the Apple Store and it was poorly managed. People waited in line for five hours and were getting close to the front when the sales person came out and announced the Pluses were all gone. When I stood in line at AT&T last year, a clerk came out to count customers and tell them upfront if there was no stock matching what they want. So nobody needed to worry about waiting in line for hours in vain.

I was just at the AT&T store tonight. I overheard the sales rep telling a customer it would be about three weeks for him to get a Plus if he were to sign up for a plan tonight.

The AT&T store did have the best selection of cases for the Plus I'd seen at the mall tonight. I was able to get a wallet style case that protects the screen as well as the rest of the phone. It's really not much use as a wallet as it can barely hold one drivers license and one credit card. But it's better than what I'd been using. Which was the stiff plastic inserts that the iPhone was in inside of the white box. I had taken the one from my box and the one from my husband's and sandwiched the phone between them and then secured them with a rubber band!
 
I don't think you will catch any flak on this forum for you opinion.

On this thread, no. In the rest of the forum it's gotten nasty and judgmental at times. Not to me, but to other people who got frustrated with AT&T and made specific threads about it. There was a fellow who got dogpiled. The other forum members twisted what he said and did into something different entirely that they could mock. I tried to defend him and they tried to do the same to me but it wouldn't work on me because I'm a middle aged mom and that sort of thing just doesn't work against my perimenopausal superpowers. ;) The mods had to send that thread to go die somewhere. I'm a little sad to not see him around now and find out if he ever got his phone.

The clincher is she said my order should ship between 10/13 & 10/22 which is back to where I started.
Any thoughts?

It's not so bad. I did however sell my 5s so I am on a old flip phone lol but today I bought an older iPhone off of ebay just in case my order gets pushed back. Haven't been without an iPhone sense the 3g and it sucks soo bad.:(

My order # starts with 1718, and I just read a comment from someone who said their order # was in the 1900's and had received shipping info - WTH ???. I have seen absolutely no movement from the time I ordered. I am trying to figure out AT&T's fulfillment process, but have seen no pattern to speak of. I am one of those patient people that will wait this one out. I will keep you all posted

I hope so. I thought she was supposed to give a tracking # not the same dates I already have since the start. Which is still 2 wks away. I hope you are right. Thank you

I think we can rule out order numbers..... check my order time and compare it to yours.... That's 11:52pm PST 9/11 for me. Order number starts with 1912!

Ordered 16gb+ sg 9/12 5:45am

64gb+ will be here Monday by 8pm

16gb+ still says back order :(

Does anyone know if there is extra shortage of 16gb models?

Not seeing many of those shipping on this thread.

although they say 64gb was the hot size this year, 16gb will always out sell any other size cause it is the cheapest.

for anyone interested: I ordered a 64gb 6+ gold on 9/12 (non premier), 50 minutes after preorder launch. My shipping dates are 10/2-10/13. I am glad something has finally changed!
