MacRumors Refresh Mock-up [iTunes 9 Update]

I don't like it. It's too blue, and many of the design elements (such as the 4 circles) seem like they were thrown in just to exist, and because it's a rip of iTunes. I think what's there now would be fine, just make the solid colors gradients...
 
So, when will we see this? Next Tuesday? If coded well, it might also give Safari just that little speed boost it so dearly needs on this site.
 
What other projects? MacRumors is one of the ugliest vBulletin reskins I've seen, the only reason I come here is to read the news. 😡

I miss spymac.

Although, knowing you, you probably have if figured out mathematically via probability and statistics as to the outcome (what to expect). 😀

It's a simple process of elimination. There are only a finite number of ways you can arrange pixels on a display of a given size. Once Apple has used all but one combination, the last choice must be their next interface!

May I make a suggestion?

You should leave your previous versions in the first post so we can see what you've changed.

I like the 9 theme. Nice work.
 
The iTunes 9 theme looks pretty good, but not my favorite.

But what I DO like is putting the tabs on the very top. Cleans up the UI and saves a lot of space, WIN!
 
still looks good. we have lots of ideas, even just from this one thread - i just hope some sort of changes can be made eventually.
