Hey, I'm wondering what your favorite cars of the 1980's are.
Mine are:
Lamborghini Countach
Ferrari Testarosa
Any other Ferrari or Lamborghini of the 80's (I'm not familiar with the model names, but I've seen pictures of 80's ferrari's and lambos and they were good looking)
And the 1985 Lincoln Town Car
Those are the only cars that really stay in my mind wth 1980's... I'd like to discover some new gems, so please, post your favorite cars or the cars you liked from the 80's
Comon, who doesn't love that 80's town car... :D

I've owned a 1988 Honda Accord before and it was nice. It never made it to the road because it was a salvage title. The flip up lights had me :D

Here's what I would love, a 1989 Honda Accord LXI

I always liked that generation of Accord. The Prelude from that generation was nice, as well.

I also liked the Ferrari 308 and Testarossa. My favorite car from the 80s, though, is the Buick Grand National. I've lusted after one since high school. I have a weakness for large, evil-looking, fast cars.

Yeah that generation of Accord is very unique. It's hard to find a salvageable one, but some day I'll have one.

The '83 Dodge 400 convertible. I owned one of these for several years until I totaled it in the late 90's. These pics are from the net- mine was a deep chocolate brown. It was really old when I killed it, but it NEVER broke down. Great car. I'd love to find one again some day. That car got me laid like no car I've ever owned.

My father is still driving my 1989 Accord S. Actually, its in his garage now that he got himself a Acura TL. One of the benefits of being an 84 yr old, I guess.

Wow, is it in good shape? The one I had was in great shape with a tiny amount of body rust. The killer was that it had too many leaks to pass CT state inspection. I now drive a 91' Accord LX w/ 114k:)

I forgot a few others. In addition to the big, menacing Grand National, I love hot hatchbacks. There were a bunch of them that showed up in the 80s. Dodge got into front wheel drive and turbo 4s during the decade and produced some good ones. One of my favorites was the Dodge Colt Turbo. Driving it was usually: stomp the gas, wait for the turbo to spool up, and hold on for dear life. Lots of fun. :)

With the help of Carroll Shelby, they also produced two of the hottest of hatches. These were the GLHS models. There was an Omni GLHS in 86 and a Charger GLHS in 87. They were pushing 175HP, about the same as the Mustang or Camaro V8 of the time. They weren't much to look at style wise, but crazy fast. I never got to drive one, though. Oh yeah, the original GLH stood for Goes Like Hell. The GLHS supposedly stood for Goes Like Hell Some more or Shelby, depending on who you ask.

I also love the Mazda 323 GT andGTX. Another crazy turbo hatch, although not as fast as the GLHS models. The GTX was even all wheel drive.

This is the car I always wanted back in the 80's...Renaults R5 Turbo 2. They didn't import many of them and wanted as much for one as a 944 Porsche at the time. They raced up Pikes Peak against the Audi Quatros and the Ford RS200s and did quite well.
