Where do you keep your wallet?

For many years I always kept my wallet in my back right pocket. Then one time I had to drive from Long Island to Virgina Beach for vacation. Half way through the trip I got very uncomfortable. My back started to hurt a lot. Then I had to get my wallet out for a toll and decided just to throw it in the cup holder for the remainder of the trip. About 15 minutes after I took my wallet out, my discomfort went away. That's when I realized that having a wallet in your back pocket isn't good for your back. Ever since then I've kept it in my left front pocket.

I am the only person I know that doesn't keep it in their back pocket. I'm just wondering how many other people keep it in their front pocket.

I keep mine in my back right pocket. At first it was a little weird getting used to, now I feel weird if I don't have it.

What a man-centric poll. I usually keep mine in my handbag. However sometimes when I am not feeling the bag-carrying thing I often drop cash and cards into random pockets and feel all liberated.

BTW, in London on busy public transport, a wallet in an easy to reach back pocket is an easy way to lose that wallet. It happens ALL the time because people are constantly bumping into each other and must barely notice it being 'lifted.

It moves between one of my front pockets, and a pocket on my coat. I never put it in my back pocket it's uncomfortable, and seems like it would be really easy to get it stolen from there.

My old, small wallet would go anywhere.
My new bigger one can only fit in a backpocket. Left. Or in my laptop bag if I'm feeling fruity.

i have always had mine in front right, except for when ill be doing something that may injure/damage it/me.

mobile goes in front left, keys back right.

Wallet goes in the back right pocket, phone and iPod in the front right, and keys and pencils in the front left.

Front left jacket pocket. Never quite seen the point of keeping it in your trousers (the wallet that is) as you're constantly having to adjust it (the wallet, again) when you sit or stand.

Front left. I'm right handed so I keep my iPhone in my front right pocket since I pull it out so often.

Occasionally switch to a back pocket if I'm feeling lazy, but usually don't for fear of pick pocketers.

really? i am right handed, but i always grab my phone with my right hand - and i normally text with my left hand. though i am half left handed, so maybe im just wierd.
