Itunes could not backup the ipad because an error occurred
I just ran the latest updates on my iMac (not done it for a while as I've been away) and now my ipad fails to sync with the error message that:
"Itunes could not backup the ipad because an error occurred" Anyone experience this? I don't really want to restore my ipad and lose any settings, etc. The imac also beachballs when trying to sync which it doesn't normally do. I've tried rebooting the imac, restarting the ipad, etc and it's not helped... |

Try deleting the existing backup(s).
In iTunes preferences, click on "Devices," click on the backup(s) so they are highlighted, then click the "delete" button. |
