Hey guys im interested in doing the udid activation and than putting iOS 5 on my iphone 4.

However, Does it void your warranty????

my speaker phone has an issue and will eventually get it replaced. But i don't want apple saying my warranty is voided since i have iOS 5 on it.

Thanks

Why would an apple OS provided by apple void your warranty, especially if you're a developer.

Why not just replace the device first? Remember you will have to re-register the new device because it will come with a fresh UDID. Better yet, just hang on till there's a GM version.

That shouldn't be the case.

It's not unauthorised software.

As long as you're a developer then there is nothing in the terms of the warranty that would exclude you from coverage.
