iTunes AirPlay to Apple TV with Subtitles
All movies that I watch is downloaded from Internet.
I don't buy anything from iTunes store. I watch movies with subtitles. Subtitles are external file like .srt or .sub I want to play movies from my MacBook Pro and watch and hear them from Apple TV and see subtitles. I know I can do it with converting with HandBrake, but I don't want to convert it. I can jailbreak Apple TV. I will buy Apple TV if I can do those things. |

I use iSubtitle for adding subtitles to my mp4/m4v files. It has an automated search-and-add function for subs, meta data and cover image.
You can buy it in the Mac App Store. |

Honest question here. If you don't purchase movies and are willing to JB, is there an advantage to an AT2 over the other hardware options out there?

All what you ask is perfectly possible with a jailbreak!
Without a jailbreak, it won't. |
