Covert Mkv video with subtitles to quicktime?

Hello,

I have some mkv files with subtitles that I would like to import into itunes for my ipad, is there a way to convert the file with the subtitles? Otherwise when I convert it using handbrake, the video does not have subtitles.

Well what do you know? Live and learn. thanks for your help. When I tried to google a answer for this no one mentioned handbrake.
 
Use Subler. Just remux the video to m4v and then it is iEverything compatible. Handbrake takes longer transcoding that Subler takes to remux.
