It seems to me to suck in higher revenue customers one might TRY to put a hawk ad in a wide demo slot. You might get lucky.
Some of the ads on Meet the press have an audience of only a coule hundred industrial buyers and they keep running them. At least Apple could sell video editing solutions to tens of thousands of people not mere hundreds.
